WEATHER: THE MAIN EVENT WILL GO ON AS PLANNED. We encourage all guests to use caution when traveling to and from Harpeth Hall.

WHAT TO WEAR: Anything goes! Jeans or khakis with a polo or button down for the guys. Sport coat is fine, but not necessary. Dress, skirt, or jeans for the girls. We want you to come and have fun – comfort is key!

PARKING: Enter on the Hobbs Road side of campus. Park in any available space in lots by the Athletic & Wellness Center, behind Patton Visual Arts Center and the Ann Scott Carell Library, and behind the Daugh W. Smith Middle School. Overflow parking on the Esteswood side of campus.

Thank you for joining us in support of  The Main Event 2017 at Harpeth Hall. This event serves as the primary fundraiser hosted by the Harpeth Hall Parents Association. Funds from this event directly benefit the educational experience of all students.  The Main Event 2017 will feature a fabulous Southern food stations by Chef Danielle Kates of d.Kates Catering and live entertainment by Super T Revue. The Harpeth Hall Parents Association is thrilled to announce the Tyrone Smith Revue, featuring Tyrone “Super T” Smith, as the entertainment for The Main Event 2017. Super T exhibits relentless showmanship that is sure to make this year a memorable experience. Super T has been performing for diverse crowds for over 40 years and has been featured nationally on the Today Show, Good Morning America, The Morning Show, Inside Edition, and Entertainment Tonight

Support The Main Event by donating bottles of wine valued at $20 or more and bottles of wine valued at $40 or more to the Wall of Wine (WOW). WOW donations may be taken to the Harpeth Hall Advancement Office (Sunnybrook) located behind the Athletic and Wellness Center beginning February 1st. We are excited to partner again this year with The Wine Chap who will offer a 15% discount on any wine purchased to donate to the WOW. ONLINE AUCTION BIDS

Bidding for The Main Event Online Auction lots begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017. Online bidding will continue until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017. You will be notified via text and/or email if you have been outbid. An online bid is a binding agreement to purchase the lot.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

All sales are final and “as is.” There are no refunds or returns. All accommodations are subject to availability and based on double occupancy, unless expressly stated otherwise. Items such as gift certificates and vacation accommodations must be used within one year of purchase unless otherwise specified. Harpeth Hall and the Harpeth Hall Parents Association (HHPA) are not responsible for any unredeemed gift certificates or unredeemed donated services under any circumstances. Buyers must abide by all restrictions and conditions that apply. The fair market value (FMV) of items listed herein has been provided by the donors. Any purchase in excess of the FMV may be tax-deductible. Values are not guaranteed by Harpeth Hall or the HHPA.

SUCCESSFUL BIDS AND PAYMENTS

Auction purchases will be paid in full at the close of the auction using the credit card on file. Conditions of sale require that buyers pay for their auction purchases no later than March 9, 2017. Payment must be made by Visa®, MasterCard®, or American Express®.

AUCTION ITEM PICK UP

Pick up for auction items will take place at Harpeth Hall on Monday, March 13 in the Cayce Conference Room. Please use the side entrance located on the back porch of Souby Hall. All buyers will be notified via email with instructions following the close of the online auction. Participation in this auction is limited to Harpeth Hall’s constituents including faculty, staff, parents, alumnae, and friends of the school. Local pick-up of items by winning bidders is expected and encouraged. Under unusual circumstances, Harpeth Hall may agree to ship an item, however all shipping charges are to be paid by the winning bidder.

BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY

All lots are non-transferable unless expressly stated otherwise. Lots cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Trips are sold as described in the online auction brochure. Each trip is to be taken during the time(s) specified in the trip description, and all nights are to be used consecutively. If extensions or date changes are permitted, they will be subject to the donor’s written consent and availability, and additional fees may be incurred by the buyer. Special invitations are subject to the schedules of the hosts who have extended them and may not be available if a date change is requested. Private homes must be used only as specified and must be returned in the condition in which they were donated. If ticketed events are canceled, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Harpeth Hall and the HHPA reserve the right to make substitutions of equal value if any component of a trip or event changes due to circumstances beyond Harpeth Hall and the HHPA’s control. Air travel, ground transportation, taxes, fees of any kind, meals, alcohol, gratuities and amenities are not included unless expressly stated in the trip description. The buyer is responsible for clarifying questions about any component of the trip prior to departure. Please book your trip as early as possible to avoid disappointment regarding availability.
